Arabic Fattoush Salad

I was wondering about the taste of that salad for a while since a friend gave me  some sumac spice to try. 🙂

dressing:

4 tsp sumac

4 tsp hot water

3 tbsp lemon juice

2 garlic cloves minced

2 tbsp pomegranate molasses (optional)

some all-spice ( optional)

black pepper and salt

fresh mint chopped

3/4 cup olive oil

leave the sumac and hot water to soak for 15 mn and then add the rest of the ingredients and let it rest to the fridge;

crispy salad leaves,  1 red onion minced, 2 spring onions chopped, fresh parsley, 7 radishes sliced, 1/2 cucumber, 1 and 1/2 tomatoes chopped, feta cheese and pita or flat bread toasted and added in the end.

Magic!

The purplish flowers you can see on the photo are chive flowers: look nicer and taste pretty fantastic in that salad.

I was going for a quick salad to make and it was exactly what i was looking for. A fresh summer salad .
